Any organization can earn either free books or cash with an Usborne Book Fair. Your Usborne Educational Consultant works with you to make it as convenient as possible for your organization. The consultant may even do all the set up and selling. It is possible that all you have to do is pick your option of earnings and help advertise. Everyone loves Usborne Book Fairs. What is Reach for
the Stars!!?
Reach for the Stars!! is a pledge-based reading incentive program that puts
books into the hands of children and rewards them for reading, as well as
benefiting the organization in the form of cash and/or books.
How does the organization benefit?
This pledge-based reading incentive program returns over 100% of the amount pledges back to the organization and students in a combination of award-winning Usborne Books and cash!
What is the goal of the program?
The goal of the Reach for the Stars!! program is for the children to read, or be read to, for a recommended minimum of 300 minutes over a two-week period. This is an average of 30 minutes per school day. It is also the recommended amount of time that experts encourage for daily reading.
Who can participate?
Any organized group of
children – schools, classrooms, clubs, Girl/Boy Scout Troops, preschools,
church groups, and home school groups.
What are the program options?
Book Bonanza – 110% of the pledge money is given to the organization in the form of educational books from the Usborne catalog, divided in the following manner:
· 50% in books to participating students

in books to the classrooms, library and/or
incentives for children
Fund Raiser Program – 100% of the money is given to the organization in the form of cash and books from the Usborne catalog, divided in the following manner:
· 50% in books is given to the children with pledges
· 30% in CASH is given to the organization

in books to the classrooms, library and/or
incentives for children
Both program options offer at least a 100%
return!!
